Mayor Kim Driscoll convened the Economic Development Recovery and Revitalization (EDRR) Task Force in March 2020 to focus on business and community support. The EDRR is made up of municipal staff, elected officials, and leaders in Salem’s business and creative economy including: Tom Daniel, City of Salem; Kate Newhall-Smith, City of Salem; Christine Madore, Salem City Council President; John Andrews, Creative Collective; Kate Fox, Destination Salem; Laura Swanson, Enterprise Center at Salem State University; Lucy Corchado, Point Neighborhood Association; Kylie Sullivan, Salem Main Streets; Rinus Ooshtoek, Salem Chamber of Commerce; Beth Debski, Salem Partnership; Seth Lattrell, City of Salem; and Brittany Dolan, City of Salem.
